Hi, Shader 2.0 not supported. It seems that your video card does not supports shaders V2... Car you give me the manufacturer/version of the video card you are using ? Also, did you try to install the complete directX runtime ? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=81...

Re: Calculate the Center of Gravity of a PHX

How can i refer this CM to the origin of the world? The inertia matrix is not a position/orientation matrix. As explained before, this is the components of the inertia: - the offset from the body's world position = (0,0,0) if your CM is located exactly at the body's absolute position - the 3*3 comp...

Re: Color Sensors

I don't fully understand this piece of code. It is the usual way to convert a RGB color to a grey scale value. Why did you set 15% of luminosity It is a sample :) use 1000 if you want. The goal is to have a value that is near what you can have on a real sensor. which are apropieate values to genera...

Re: Calculate the Center of Gravity of a PHX

Hi, The CM you retrieves is relative to the parent of the geometry: its rigid body. When the RB is in auto mode, the sphere is centered on the RB. So your CM is (0,0,0). If you combine several geoms, the center will probably not be (0,0,0). I really don't understand the meaning of the inetertia matr...

Re: Calculate the Center of Gravity of a PHX

Hi,

You have a sample in the documentation: http://doc.anykode.com/ModaCPP__GeomBod ... tia__.html

The inertia Matrix par of the returned structure is computed by ODE: it is an accumulation of body's geoms inertia type and masses (see ODE doc for more details).

Hi,

By default, MODA is working with a pool of 3 TCP channels. (http://doc.anykode.com/ModaCPP__Connection.html).

You can change it while creating the Connection object:

Re: Servo's inertia

The servo tries to keep its position by using its maximum torque. The controlled velocity is about : V (angular velocity) = Gain * Error (angular error)

You can control servo in position, velocity or torque

Re: Servo.GoPositionDeg bug

Dear David,

Simply check the 'Maintain Absolute Angle' property in your servo's configuration.

If no limit are defined (on join axis) or 'Maintain Absolute Angle' is not checked, the servo tries to reach the desired position by using the shortest way.

If you are using the latest Marilou version (4.7.30) on your laptob: we modified the 'tire' material in order to add FDS (Force Dependant Slip).
Perhaps it is the cause ... try to remove FDS in the Material file (Use Material editor, open Tire material and remove FDS).
